The information gained from this study may help elderly persons who are at risk for falling obtain a better electronic device for detecting falls.  It is critical that falls are detected immediately.  The delay between the time of fall and the time of medical attention can exacerbate injury if the fall resulted in a concussion, traumatic brain injury, or bone fracture.  You will not receive any direct benefits by being in this study. However, by joining this research study you are helping to provide information that may help science and society.
